****ADOPTED****

Ollie comes to us all the way from Delaware.  Tragically his mom passed away in April leaving dad alone to raise their 3 children.  Ollie was a true Mamma’s boy and the family made the difficult decision to surrender him so he could find a home where he could be that again.
Ollie is a 5-7 year old, red sable male, approximately 8 pounds.  He has long legs which make him appear larger than he really is.   His fur is growing out right now from a previous cut, so he looks a little shaggy.  His bark is very low and gruff making it possible that he has been debarked.  We do know that when his family adopted him about 4 years ago, he had been abused and had cigarette burns covering his head.
In spite of everything, he is a very sweet and loving boy.  It took him all of 30 minutes after he sniffed around the house to decide it was a quite comfortable place and I would do just fine as his new mommy.
He is excellent on a leash, housebroken, he stood still for his bath, and he loved being towel dried!  Every time I started to pull the towel away, he stuck his head back in it until I rubbed some more and he stretched his head up towards the ceiling in appreciation.  He got along fine with my dogs and came from a home with a large dog, a cat, and 2 bunnies that he got along with just fine.
Ollie has had dental surgery, been neutered and has had his shots and vet checkup.  He has a clean bill of health and is ready for his new home.

  1. We took Ollie to the farmers market this morning and were pleasantly surprised. The market was packed today, but Ollie didn't bat an eye! He said hello to other dogs, let people pet him, stayed in a heel position, and wagged his tail the whole way.

He will do well in a home with other dogs. Size doesn't matter to Ollie. Ollie's adoption fee is $300
